If you're thinkin' of livin' in Dore next year. . .

So  you've walked by it on your way to class.  Or you've heard of it.  Or you've gotten a strange housing lotto time-slot and need to do some last-minute recon on your housin' options.  What should you know about the delightfully under-the-radar Dore Hall?

Rooms

Dore is composed of a mixture of singles, triples, and doubles.  Most of the middle chunk of the building houses the singles and doubles, with one side of the building primarily 'solo flyers,' and the other 'double troubles.'  The larger rooms are toward the ends of each hallway.

The best, best, BEST room you can snag in Dore is one of the coveted corner rooms.  They have two sets of windows (so six windows in total), and are overall much roomier than your typical double, or even triple/quad, especially if you're comparing them to any room in Aquinas.  Plus, all the rooms in Dore have high ceilings, making everything feel roomier to begin with!  The singles are cozier than the triple/double option, so I'd avoid extra furniture from home (if you can swing it).  The second/third floors have good views--great views of the city if you happen to live on the half of the building that faces the art buildings!
