Academic Media Services (AMS) provides educational media / classroom technology support services to the Providence College Community.Overseeing classroom and limited non-academic event usage of media presentation hardware, AMS provides equipment, training and support for instructional presentations. AMS facilities in Feinstein provide listening and viewing facilities for audio and video programs as may be assigned in classes as well as access to over 3000 videotape and DVD programs.The collection can be searched via the Internet at http://131.128.70.2/search and under Library Collections choose Collection Type/Formatand choose Films/Video/DVD's from the selections.
AMS supports all classroom presentation technology, and maintains a collection of media hardware for student and faculty loan, including; video camcorders, analog and digital audio recorders, laptop computers for classroom presentations, data projectors, digital still cameras, P.A. sound systems, computer graphics and printing services for classroom and research presentations.
AMS requires a minimum of 48 hours lead-time on all service and equipment requests.
