Southside Community Land Trust promotes community gardens, green space, and environmental education to encourage environmental and community awareness and improve the quality of urban life. They believe that environmental issues are issues of equity and justice, and they are committed to working with residents of the south side to effect necessary social changes and improve people’s lives. Work-study students are needed in various areas.
