The Smith Hill Community Development Center (SMCDC) is a neighborhood organization dedicated to promoting safe, decent, and affordable housing in the Smith Hill area of Providence. SMCDC acquires abandoned homes within the neighborhood, renovates them and sells the finished product to qualified first-time home buyers. Assisting with Grant Writing, research, coordination/supervision of neighborhood/college volunteers. Assisting with day to day operations of CDC. Create and develop flyers, brochures.
| Job Title: Youth RAP program assistant/ group leader Job Description: Assist YouthRAP coordinator with tutoring students ages 5 to 18, leading group activities and chaperoning field trips. Plan and lead after school club activities. Help set up and clean up all activities. Special Skills: Desire to work with youth and children. Must pass a background check. |
