Job Title: Citizenship and Immigration Aid

Job Description: Students will have the opportunity to work one to one with individuals from countries around the world and will be kept up to date on relevant immigration issues. Alongside general administrative support, duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Aid caseworkers in providing initial intake and first phase of assessment for all potential clients
    • Work with individuals, families, and groups providing information, assessment, and support in areas relating to immigration and citizenship
    • Assist refugee and asylee clients with application for permanent residency, including responding to questions or permanent residency application procedures.
    • Support clients with citizenship applications and interview/exam preparation
    • Translating documents needed for immigration purposes
    • Take immigration photos for IIRI clients
    • Keep professional and accurate documentation
