All About Tables

Table of contents
  1. 1. Simple 2 x 2 Table

This page will teach you how to make tables in this wiki. Tables are useful for displaying information that would otherwise go in a chart or be displayed using tabs, like a schedule.

To create a table, click the Insert Table button in the editing interface. It's directly below the link ("L") button, and it looks a little like a calendar. (Remember, you must be logged in AND in the editing mode.)

Simple 2 x 2 Table

The example below shows a 2 row by 2 column table. There is no border, the table is 50% the width of the page and the alignment is set to "Center".

Cell 1 Row 1 Column 1 Cell 2 Row 1 Column 2
Cell 3 Row 2 Column 1 Cell 4 Row 2 Column 2

In the initial set-up dialog box, this table has the following table settings:

Be sure you set the table alignment the way you want it when you set up the table. If you want to change it later, you'll have to do so in raw HTML.

Editing Table and Cell Properties

Once you have created a table, you can edit the table and cell properties by right clicking (CMD click for Mac) on the table and selecting one of the options. If you don't see the options you're looking for, make sure that the entire table is selected as below.
