Your Resident Assistant is trained to assist you and your roommate to create a mutually agreeable living situation. Please seek your Resident Assistant for further assistance.
Can I move into a new room?
Room changes are permitted at the discretion of the Dean of Residence Life on or after October 15, 2008. If this is something you would like to look into, please see your Hall Director to discuss your options.
Something in my room is broken (furniture, lightbulb, window, etc.). What do I do?
For all maintenance requests, contact the Maintenance Hotline at fixit@providence.edu. Be detailed and specific regarding what maintenance is needed. This is NOT for cleaning services.
What is Guest Registration?
When any student has a non-PC student guest staying on campus between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., the student needs to register his/her guest online at http://internal.providence.edu/guestreg/requestform_login.htm. Guest privileges for the 2008-2009 academic year begin on Tuesday, September 2.
Can I have a pet in my room?
The only pets allowed are fish in a ten-gallon or smaller tank.
