Off Campus Music

All bands and potential rockstars need to start somewhere, and as Providence College is a city, there are various local bands and hotspots for music life.  A few of the various bands that made their way to fame and continue to succeed in the city are Route 44, Endlis Rhode and ironically enough the New York Minute .

One of the most prominent places for both theatre and music is the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) , which in the past has put on many successful shows including Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera, and Les Miserables.  PC students have the fabulous opportunity of being able to get tickets to such shows at either low prices or sometimes entirely for free.  The arts cetner is easily accessed by bus and overall in an ideal location for students to enjoy their various plays, musicals, and operas.
