Beach information

There are many beaches in the area and you dont need a car to get there!

The RIPTA bus service is available, free for PC students! It can take you to the beaches in Newport, RI.  Schedules are online on the Ripta website: http://ripta.com/ With your PC ID, you are eligible to go anywhere throughout the state on the public bus line.  When in Newport, there are plenty of restaurants, shopping on Thame Street, mansions tours, and aslo periodic shows and concerts that make it worth the trip! If you are looking for beaches a little closer, you could also check out Colt State Park in Bristol, RI.  Go to this site to get further information on the history, activities, and beaches at Colt State Park: http://www.riparks.com/colt.htm.
