Computer Lab Policies

The following is a list of rules and policies by which all users must abide while using a Providence College computer lab:

• Computer labs are only to be used by Providence College faculty, staff, and students.
• All users must have their Providence College ID card while in the lab.
  • Users may be asked to leave if they cannot produce their PC ID card.
• All users must agree to and abide by the Information Technolog Acceptable Usage Policy.
• All users must agree to and abide by the College Copyright Policy.
• Consumption of food or beverages in the computer lab is strictly prohibited.
  • Users may be asked to leave if they have food or drink in the lab.
• Legitimate academic use of the labs takes priority over all other usage. If you are using the lab for something else and people are waiting for a computer, please surrender the computer.
• Any issues with the computers or printers in the computer labs should be immediately reported to the lab monitor on duty or to the Helpdesk at ext. 4357.

Anyone found to be in violation of any of these policies may be asked to leave and have their lab usage privileges revoked.
